Restaurant style taco salad

Homemade Flour Tortillas or you can buy the already made bowls from Wal-Mart your choice.

2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup water
3 tablespoons olive oil

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix to form a soft dough. Let rest 10 minutes. Preheat a griddle or frying pan. Divide into eight equal-sized balls and roll out into 8 inch circles. Cook for a few minutes on each side, flipping when the tortillas start to bubble. Remove to a plate and keep warm with a towel.
Once cooked place them in a medium oven safe bowl and cook at 350 in the oven for about 3 minutes to form a nice taco bowl.

Then take your choice of meat (I personally use chicken) cook meat with taco seasoning
I use the following steps:
Refried beans spread on the bottom
A layer of iceberg lettuce chopped
Cooked taco meat of your choice
Spanish Rice
Nacho cheese
Sour cream – low fat
Guacamole
Salsa and salsa verde
Cheddar cheese and black olives
This is an easy crowd pleaser.
